NADMO Donates To Victims Of Sankore Senior High School Fire Outbreak – The Ahafo Regional Director of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), Mr. Collins Osei Bonsu has given relief items to the victims of the Sankore Senior High School fiery blaze on behalf of the Director – General, Mr Eric Nana Agyemang Prempeh.

The things are; 20 pieces of student mattresses, 20 pieces of blankets, 16 bags of rice, 2 containers of cooking oil, 2 cartons of sugar, 8 pieces of mosquito nets, 1 carton of mosquito coil, 40 pieces of plastic buckets, 40 pieces of plastic bowls and 40 pieces of plastic cups.

The Assistant Headmaster in charge of administration, Assistant Headmaster in charge of Academics, the senior housemaster and the tutors who were affected by the calamity expressed their appreciation to Ahafo Regional NADMO and their Director – General for aiding them within a brief period of notice.

As indicated by Mr. Osei Bnsu, prevention pays thusly he encourages each person to be extremely mindful when utilizing fire in their various areas.

“NADMO shall continue to enhance the capacity of society to prevent and manage disasters and improve livelihood of the poor and vulnerable in rural communities through effective disaster management, social mobilisation and public education”, he added.

The teachers of Sankore Senior High School (SAHIS), appealed to the General public to support them in this trying time while the investigations are been conducted to learn the genuine cause of the fire.
