Shatta Wale Postpones Release Of ‘Gift of God’ Album – Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has shown that his eagerly awaited ‘Gift of God’ collection, will, unfortunately, not be released for this present year as was before planned.
The ‘Borjor’ hitmaker said that despite the fact that “planning toward my studio collection, GIFT OF GOD #GOG is as yet in progress – my group and I are working enthusiastically to assemble an immortal collection that will stand the trial of time and to give every one of my fans and music sweethearts around the globe a remarkable encounter” – the choice to pull the fittings on it was made “in the wake of considering the negative effect of the coronavirus on humankind.”
Shatta Wale alluded to discharging the ‘Gift of God’ collection in 2021.
“We were looking at dropping the album this year, but upon second thought, looking at how the coronavirus pandemic is taking a heavy toll on mankind, we have decided to postpone the final release date to next year 2021,” he noted.
He likewise encouraged general society to “pay attention to the infection since it’s genuine”.
“Follow the protocols. Protect yourself at all times, wear nose masks, wash your hands regularly and use hand sanitisers more often and practise social distancing,” he said.
The ‘Gift of God’ album is expected to have the three other big names: Stonebwoy, Samini and Sarkodie, just as Nigeria’s JoeBoy, Wizkid and Tiwa Savage.
