“I Nearly Gave Up On Music After 15 Years Of Being Underground” King Paluta Discloses – Ghanaian rapper King Paluta has revealed that his journey to success in the music industry is one that was far from easy.
Speaking on Entertainment Power on Nhyira FM, the “Aseda” hit-maker shared an emotional moment, admitting he almost gave up on music after spending over 15 years in the underground scene.
“I nearly quit,” he confessed. “There were moments I felt like it wasn’t going to happen. The struggles, the rejections, the financial stress—it was too much at a point.”
King Paluta, known for his lyrical depth and unique blend of Twi rap, reflected on the many challenges he faced trying to break into the mainstream.
Despite the odds, he stayed true to his craft and continued pushing, driven by his love for music and the hope that his time would come.
Today, he’s finally reaping the rewards of his perseverance. With hit songs, collaborations, and growing recognition across Ghana and beyond, King Paluta says he’s grateful he didn’t give up.
“I’m happy I made it. It’s been a long road, but I thank God, my fans, and everyone who believed in me,” he said.
